We ship your samples to the lab the same day. Results usually arrive 3–4 business days after the lab receives them.

Paternity test checklist: before your appointment
A few simple steps help us get a clean sample:

Don't eat, drink, smoke or chew gum for 30 minutes before the swab. This includes babies nursing or bottle-feeding.

For a legal test: have a valid photo ID for every adult. Bring the child's birth certificate if you have it. If the mother isn't present, the child's legal guardian must give consent.

If a court or agency gave you paperwork or a case number, have it ready.
